A July 9 post about censorship was sparked by discussions on a mailing list. The list administration expressed concern about the way it was written, particularly regarding the issue of public v private commentary. The article therefore was edited to remove specific mention of the name of the list from its title as well as to summarize one quote which was found to be embedded within another. All who were directly quoted were contacted and asked if they wished to have their specific comments deleted. None have.
There have been many expressions of support and so much interest in this topic that I have been deeply moved and profoundly touched. Thank you.
